Why rent when I can buy?

Great Question! While renting isn't for everyone, it is a cost effective option for both the budget savvy bride as well as the eco-conscious bride. If you only plan to wear the dress for one day, it's a great way to save several hundreds (or thousands) of dollars, while sustainably minimizing waste.

You also won't have to worry about getting the dress cleaned and preserved after the wedding, or having it take up space in your closet or attic for years and years in the hopes that some day your daughter "might" want to wear it. Newsflash...she probably won't!

Weddings are expensive, and every bride wants to look beautiful on her special day without breaking the bank. That's why renting a wedding dress is  an increasingly popular option.

But the good new is, you don't have to rent. At Bridal Closet we have options for those who wish to rent or for brides who prefer to buy!

How does gown rental work?

At Bridal Closet, our wedding gown rentals offer brides an elegant and affordable solution for their special day. Our rental period spans 7 days, providing ample time for you to wear the dress at the ceremony, and any additional celebrations. For those needing extended rental periods, we offer this service for an additional fee. Brides have the flexibility to reserve their desired gown months in advance, ensuring availability on their chosen date. The rental fee encompasses post-event gown cleaning, guaranteeing the gown is restored to its original, pristine condition. Before reaching our showroom floor, all rented gowns undergo meticulous cleaning, repair, and quality control measures. We solely source our gowns from trusted wedding gown suppliers and do not carry second-hand gowns. Alterations are understood to be a normal part of the wedding dress process, but alterations are not included in the cost of the rental gown. We allow alterations on rented gowns with certain restrictions, to ensure every bride achieves the perfect fit for her special day!

How do appointments work?

At Bridal Closet we take shoppers by appointment only. We do not charge for appointments. However, to ensure that we are able to provide the best service possible to all of our clients, we kindly ask that you provide a at least 48 hrs notice for cancellations or appointment changes. Appointments are 1-hour long and limited to a maximum of 4 guests over the age of 10. You will have a personal Bridal Stylist to assist you with selecting and putting on the gowns. See: "How to Prepare For Your Appointment"

Do you offer alterations?

Yes! Our experienced team specializes in women's formal wear, including bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and other special occasion attire. We know the details matter, and we take pride in making your dress fit you like a glove.

What sizes do your dresses come in?

We carry sizes 2 - 24 in our store, and we can special order as small as a size 0 and up to a size 28 in select styles. Please keep in mind that bridal sizes run small.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and all major credit cards (except American Express). We do not accept checks.

We also offer payment plans for off-the-rack purchases and special orders.

Do you buy back dresses or offer consignment?

At Bridal Closet, we carefully select each item in our store to ensure that it meets our standards for quality, style, and value. However, due to the nature of our business and the products we sell, we do not purchase dresses from individuals or accept consignment items for resale in our store.

Do you sell bridesmaids dresses or mothers' dresses?

No, our store only sells wedding gowns and bridal accessories.
